I just got back from two weeks in Venice. It was actually a class if you can believe it. It was an art history course taught by Ellen Shapiro and David Nolta. It was the most fun I've ever had learning about art history and even made me consider it as a second major. Photos really can't do it justice, and neither can words. You just have to go there.
I hope my art in the future is influenced by the beauty of the scenery and the hundreds of masterpieces I saw. I tried to sketch while I was there but I was too distracted by all the gelato...
Someday I hope I can go back there.
